An expanding program that explores Black land access, ownership and sovereignty in the Hudson Valley region. A 54-acre land base in Kingston has been protected and is currently in the community visioning phase for it to serve as the home for LIBH.

Conservation land trusts like the KLT traditionally focus on protecting open space. However, since we are in an urban area, we are exploring how to support the permanent protection of land for affordable homeownership.
A Spanish immersion conversation organized by the Kingston Land Trust in collaboration with the Kingston YMCA Farm Project. We meet quarterly at hispanic restaurants in Kingston to eat a meal together and discuss local food and land initiatives.
Located in the hamlet of Wilbur, Red Fox Ravine contains the historic Wilbur quarry and 20 acres of surrounding forest that covers the ridge overlooking the Rondout creek.
