Sara is a licensed landscape architect who has been designing parks and public spaces for over ten years. As a landscape architect, Sara tries to bring imagination, curiosity, and humility to her practice—seeing each project as an opportunity to tell a one-of-a-kind story of spirit and place. Her passion for landscape architecture and public spaces comes from growing up in Upstate New York, where she witnessed firsthand how thoughtful investment in the public realm could strengthen community, ignite cultural life, and support small businesses. After studying at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, she spent a decade living in Denver which afforded her the privilege to explore and play in the prairies, deserts, and forests of Colorado and the Mountain West.
Sara feels her best when she is connecting with her local community. She previously served as a board member for the Schenectady Green Market, as a Commissioner for the Schenectady Planning Commission, and as President of the Colorado Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
Sara and her family proudly hang their hats in Kingston - where they enjoy live music, hiking, skiing, and biking across the Northeast and Hudson Valley.
