Lauren Wood, Ph.D
Pronouns: she/they
Lauren Wood grew up in North Carolina and has been living in Ulster County since 2023. After studying ecology and physiology in undergraduate and graduate school, Lauren did research in the Everglades followed by work with the USDA Forest Service on carbon and forest disturbance. At KLT, Lauren hopes to contribute ecological expertise and support equity and access to nature.
Outside of KLT, you can find Lauren learning new crafts, exploring trails, and bopping about town.
