For this Comida y tierra dinner, we'll talk about urban agriculture and community gardens in Kingston.

Comida y tierra (Food and Land) is a program of the Kingston Land Trust that brings together native Spanish-speakers and people who want to practice Spanish over a meal in Kingston’s Hispanic restaurants. The goal is to build awareness about all that we have in common as residents of Kingston regarding resources such as parks, gardens, housing, and bike lanes.

Native Spanish speakers are stationed at each table to help move the conversation along and offer insight and assistance to those who are practicing their Spanish (and are offered a meal in appreciation for their involvement).

In case we have to cancel due to winter weather, we will re-schedule for the following evening Wednesday February 27th.
