Bio

Pronouns: he/him

Jared Williams has lived in the Hudson Valley for more than a decade. With a degree in Art/Graphics from School of Visual Arts in NYC, Jared has an eye for design and form.  After taking a PDC (Permaculture Design Course) in 2012, he saw connection with life in a whole new way and decided to go all in. Building and tending to food forests and native ecology of the Hudson Valley has taught him many lessons on living in harmony with the patterns and rhythms of the land and the culture that is unique to this area.  As a local movement enthusiast, Jared is committed to collaborating with the local people and organizations, especially toward delivering edible plants to publicly accessible spaces.  The native Paw Paw tree is one of his favorite fruits and he aspires to continue to live up to the nickname of Papi Paw Paw.
