Red Fox Ravine Mushroom and Volunteer Event

Presented in partnership with Eat Flowers Farm, join us for mushroom harvesting,  cooking, discussion on how mushrooms can support food security.

We’ll also have a discussion about the ecological impacts of tree-of-heaven (ailanthus) and spotted lantern fly, observe how both have spread at Red Fox Ravine after the deforestation of a slope, and do some ailanthus girdling as a non-chemical method to control its spread.
