Comida Y Tierra: Un conversatorio para los guardianes de semillas
Our next Comida y Tierra gathering features Levy Herne from Akwesasne, storytelling from migrant Indigenous voices on how seeds carry and transport worlds, and sharing from K Greene of the Farm Hub and Mimi Lucero (Kichwa), who will bring the diverse corn relations that shaped the Corn Reunion Garden.
The evening will unfold through community dialogue around seed stories, accompanied by music and traditional food (with Guatemalan dishes planned), creating a space to honor Indigenous voices and the living practices of seed keeping and seed sharing.
This event will be held in Spanish, with Q’EQCHI’ translation available.
