Perma-blitz: Awakening the Land with Companion Planting
Join us for our monthly community land stewardship gathering, where we dig in with purpose and learn with intention. Each session blends hands-on ecological care with cultural, spiritual, and ancestral wisdom around land and food. On May 31st, we’ll explore companion planting—the practice of growing certain plants together in ways that nurture, protect, and feed each other, just as communities do.
Whether you're an experienced grower or curious beginner, you'll leave with a better understanding of how to create thriving, interconnected growing systems. Expect to get your hands in the soil, plant seedlings, and reflect together on what it means to awaken the land in alignment with abundance, reciprocity, and care.
Our Perma-blitz combines learning workshops with volunteering. Participants will learn skills from experts in the field and have an opportunity to practice them as a group through current stewardship projects happening on KLT-protected lands.
