Bio

Pronouns: he/him/él

Prior to joining the KLT in April of 2018 (and after getting a BA from Wesleyan University in 2013), Greg led community-based environmental and social projects in the mountains of Lebanon--an ancestral home that he has become close with--and worked as a Spanish interpreter in Philadelphia and New York City. He grew up in the Shawangunk ridge in Kerhonkson, and the connection with this land and the broader Rondout Valley (as well as the opportunity to work with the KLT) inspired him to move to Kingston and deepen his roots here.

Greg feels deep gratitude that his job allows him to engage so many of his passions, including land, people, languages, cultures, and working toward a more just and sustainable future.

In his free time, Greg enjoys meditating, traveling, kitesurfing, gardening, dancing, drumming, trail-running, hiking, camping, rock climbing, biking, and scampering about in streams, mountains, and the streets of Kingston with Jamila 🐾.
